چکیده
SUMMARY OBJECTIVE: Polycystic ovary syndrome can be divided into different subtypes, including insulin resistance and hyperandrogenism. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between serum asprosin levels polycystic subtypes. METHODS: A total 93 women with 77 healthy as controls were selected for study. clinical laboratory data compared group control group. further subgroups: (1) or without hyperandrogenism (polycystic none-hyperandrogenism, respectively) (2) none-insulin resistance, respectively). Serum measured by using enenzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. RESULTS: showed no significant difference groups. However, it significantly lower in HA groups respective none-hyperandrogenism (p<0.05). In group, negatively correlated body mass index, luteinizing hormone, testosterone, basal antral follicles, fasting insulin, homeostatic model assessment triglycerides. After adjusting correlations not significant, only positively prolactin (prolactin; r=0.426, p<0.001). CONCLUSION: Our shows that exhibit controls, level directly level.

The effects of obesity and polycystic ovary syndrome on serum lipocalin-2 levels: a cross-sectional study
BACKGROUND Lipocalin-2 is a novel adipokine that appears to play a role in the development of insulin resistance. Serum lipocalin-2 levels are elevated in obese patients. Obesity and insulin resistance are cardinal characteristics of the polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). However, there are limited data on serum lipocalin-2 levels in patients with PCOS. The aim of the present study was to assess...

Background and Objectives: The polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common diseases diagnosed in women of childbearing age which is associated with increased risk of metabolic complications, including cardiovascular disease. Increasing C-reactive protein (CRP) as an inflammatory factor is common in these patients. In addition, vitamin D deficiency is quite common among females wi...
متن کاملAssociation between serum levels of Adipokines and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine disorder associated with metabolic disorders and infertility. Evidence suggests that the adipose tissue secreted products, adipokines, play an important role in the pathophysiology of PCOS. Reciprocally, PCOS influences on the adipokines serum content, also on gene or protein expression of some of them. Finding out of assoc...
